1Who we are and what this covers

CloudMyle is the trading name of SMCLOUDMYLE LLP, a limited liability partnership based in Hyderabad, India. We build websites, web applications and WhatsApp messaging tools for businesses, and we run this website, cloudmyle.com.

This policy covers everything that happens on cloudmyle.com and the services connected to it: browsing the site, asking for a quote, previewing a template, creating an account, buying a template or subscription, and messaging our WhatsApp business number. It is written for the person whose data it is — if anything here is unclear, ask us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

2Information you give us

You give us personal information in a handful of specific places:

  • Quote and enquiry forms on our landing pages ask for your name and phone number, and optionally your email, company or business name, project size and a message. Alongside what you type, the form quietly records which page you enquired from and — if you arrived by clicking an ad — the ad-click details described in section 4 (source, campaign parameters, keyword and click ID).
  • The contact page form collects the same kind of details so we can reply to you.
  • The footer newsletter collects only your email address. We email roughly once a month and nothing else is done with that address.
  • The "Connect with developer" widget is a lead form collecting your name, phone, email and message. Opening it also records an advertising interaction event (section 4).
  • Template and demo previews ask for your mobile number once before the preview opens, so we can follow up if you are interested in that design.
  • Accounts are created with an email address and password, or through Google sign-in — in which case Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us.
  • Checkout for template and subscription purchases collects billing details: name, email, phone and address. Your card or UPI details go directly to the bank's payment page and never touch our servers (section 8).
  • WhatsApp: if you message our business number, we receive your phone number and the content of your messages. These are carried through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API (section 9).

3Information collected automatically

While you browse, three things are recorded automatically:

  • Usage analytics through Google Analytics 4 (we run two GA4 properties): the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Performance beacons that report Core Web Vitals — how quickly pages load and respond on your device — so we can keep the site fast.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting, recording the IP address, requested page and timestamp of each visit — standard for almost every website, used for security and troubleshooting.

One detail worth knowing: Google's tags (Analytics, Google Ads and Tag Manager) do not load the instant a page opens. They load when you start interacting with the site — scrolling, tapping or moving the mouse — or after about ten seconds of idling, whichever comes first. Until then, no Google cookies are set.

4Advertising and Google

We advertise on Google, and measuring whether those ads work is the main reason Google technology appears on this site. Here is the full picture:

  • Conversion tracking. When you submit certain forms, a Google Ads tag records that a conversion happened. On some forms we also use Google's enhanced conversions: the email address or phone number you submitted is passed to Google's tag, which hashes it in your browser before transmission. Google uses the hashed value to match the conversion to an ad click — we never send your readable email or phone number to Google.
  • Ad-click identifiers. If you land here from a Google ad, the link carries a click ID (gclid) and campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign, term, content and keyword). We store these with your enquiry so we know which ads produce real enquiries and which waste money.
  • Cookies. Google's tags set analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and advertising cookies (_gcl_au and similar) used for conversion measurement and remarketing — showing our ads to people who have visited the site before.

Google explains its side of this in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can switch off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, block Google Analytics with the GA opt-out browser add-on, or opt out of interest-based advertising generally at optout.aboutads.info.

5How we score enquiries

When your enquiry arrives, our server automatically classifies it — for example as qualified, warm or cold — based on the details you submitted, such as project size and how complete your message is. We use the classification to prioritise follow-up and to measure which of our advertising brings in genuine enquiries. The classification is stored alongside your enquiry.

This scoring never blocks anyone from reaching us, and a human reads every enquiry regardless of how it was classified.

6Cookies and browser storage

cloudmyle.com itself sets no first-party cookies. Any cookies you find were set by Google's tags (the analytics and advertising cookies in section 4), by the Google Maps embed once it loads, or as session cookies if you sign in to an account. The site also uses your browser's local storage. The complete inventory:

StorageWhat it holdsWhy
Cookies — Google tags_ga, _ga_* (analytics); _gcl_au and similar (advertising)Visit measurement, ad conversion tracking and remarketing
Cookies — Google MapsGoogle's own preference cookies, set once the map embed loadsMap functionality
Cookies — sign-inSession cookies created when you sign inKeeping you signed in
localStorageLogin token and profile after sign-in; a flag that you completed the template-preview number gate; currency preference; checkout selections; interface settingsSo the site remembers you between visits without asking again
sessionStorageOne-time flags for the current browser tabStops a conversion event firing twice if you refresh; limits certain popups to once per session

You can clear or block all of this in your browser settings. The site keeps working — you would just need to sign in again and re-enter the preview number gate.

7How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • reply to your enquiries and follow up on quote requests;
  • deliver what you bought — templates, subscriptions and the services attached to your account;
  • send the newsletter, roughly once a month, only if you signed up;
  • measure which advertising works and how the site performs, so we spend money and effort in the right places;
  • keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax records for purchases.

We do not use your information for anything unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.

8Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

Your data is handled by a short, specific list of systems and providers:

  • Our own CRM and backend at api.cloudmyle.com, operated by SMCLOUDMYLE LLP — where enquiries, accounts and orders live.
  • Google — analytics, advertising measurement, the Maps embed and Google sign-in, as described in sections 3 and 4.
  • Meta Platforms — the WhatsApp Business Platform that carries WhatsApp messages between you and us (section 9).
  • ICICI Bank — our payment gateway. When you pay at checkout, your card or UPI details are entered on the bank's payment page and are processed entirely by the bank; they never reach CloudMyle's servers.
  • Amazon Web Services — hosts this website (AWS Amplify) and our backend, using India and global regions.
  • A country-lookup service — on template-preview pages, it sees your IP address to work out your country so we can show prices in your currency. It receives nothing else.

Beyond that list, we would disclose information only if the law required it — for example a valid order from a court or authority.

9WhatsApp messaging

Messages between you and our WhatsApp business number are processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Meta carries the message; we receive your phone number and what you wrote, and we use them only to handle your conversation with us.

Separately, some of our business customers use WhatsApp messaging flows that CloudMyle builds and operates for them. In those cases we process their end users' data — phone numbers, message content and delivery status — strictly on that business's behalf and under its instructions. The business is responsible for giving its own customers the required notices and obtaining any consents; questions about a specific business's messaging should go to that business first.

Meta's handling of WhatsApp data is described in the Meta privacy policy.

10Google reviews shown on our site

We display reviews from our public Google Business listing on this website — the reviewer's name, profile photo and review text, exactly as published on Google. If you wrote one of those reviews and would rather it did not appear here, email us and we will remove it from the site; you can also edit or delete the review on Google itself, and our copy follows the public listing.

11How long we keep your data

We keep data only as long as it is genuinely useful or legally required:

DataHow long we keep it
Enquiries and quote requests (including ad-click details and lead score)Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted — or sooner if you ask
Newsletter email addressUntil you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it
Account dataFor the life of your account; deleted when you close it or ask us to
Order, invoice and payment recordsAs long as Indian tax and company law require, even if you delete your account
WhatsApp conversationsAs long as needed to handle and follow up your conversation

Anything not listed follows the same principle: kept while needed for the purpose you gave it to us, then deleted.

12How we protect your data

The site is served over HTTPS, so everything you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to our CRM and backend is restricted to the people who need it to do their jobs. Payments are handled entirely by the bank's gateway, which keeps the most sensitive data — card and UPI details — off our systems altogether.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend ours is. If you ever suspect a problem with how your data is handled, email us at admin@cloudmyle.com and we will investigate promptly.

13Where your data is processed

Our team and backend are in India, and that is where your data is primarily processed. Some of the providers we rely on — Google, Meta and Amazon Web Services — operate globally, so data they process for us may be stored or handled outside India under those companies' own contractual and technical safeguards.

14Your rights and choices

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for:

  • Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correction — fixing anything inaccurate or out of date;
  • Erasure — deletion of your data;
  • Withdrawal of consent — for anything that runs on your consent, such as the newsletter;
  • Grievance redressal — if you feel a request was mishandled, escalate it to admin@cloudmyle.com and it will be reviewed.

Requesting deletion

Email admin@cloudmyle.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request", including your name or business name, the email or phone number you used with us, and what you want deleted. We verify that the request really comes from you, carry it out, and send you confirmation when it is done. Records we must keep by law — such as tax records for purchases — are retained even after a deletion request.

Newsletter

Unsubscribe any time by replying to any newsletter email or by emailing us directly.

If you are visiting from the UK or EU, you have equivalent rights under your local law, and we honour them on request through the same channel.

15Children's privacy

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults, not at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has submitted their details through one of our forms, email admin@cloudmyle.com and we will delete the data.

16Changes to this policy

When we change how the site handles data — a new form, a new provider, a new tag — we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes we will flag the update noticeably on the site rather than changing things quietly. Questions about this policy, or about anything the site does with your data, are always welcome at the contact details below.
